The Sims 4 Releases Wedding Pack Arrives Soon

One of the things we love about The Sims 4 is that the game is as large as life. After so many DLC, Maxis keeps delivering, and the next one to enrich the simulated life is the My Wedding Stories Pack. Soon it arrives to all the platforms where The Sims 4 can be, so it’s time to learn more about what this pack brings.

The pack had to be released earlier, but when Maxis announced its content, it caused a controversy – first in Russia, with its strong prejudices and censorship against “gay propaganda”, then in the rest of the world where the decision to not release this pack in Russian was heavily criticized. Finally, Maxis decided to make it available for Russian players as well, but arguments and localization took time. The final release date moved to February 23, a bit later than planned initially.

The base content available in this pack has not changed. It will feature everything Maxis has promised. It will enable players to have a wedding in the world of Sims and arrange it the way they like, from invited guests to the venue and the menu. These stories have a lot of content one will enjoy, from various national traditions to, yes, a same sex marriage. Whatever way you choose, you can make it the celebration you’d like to have in your real life.

The pack will be available on February 23, on 18:00 GMT, and the local time depends on your time zone. The release will hit all the platforms simultaneously. Preloading is probably not available, so you may have to wait as the servers will certainly be busy.
