One of the most successful smartphone series, Samsung Galaxy S, will see a long-awaited update soon, with the arrival of Samsung Galaxy S23. It will be (as usual) the most powerful and feature-packed smartphone not only by Samsung, but by all the Android device manufacturers, and in many respects, it will outdo iPhone as well. But what exactly do we know?

First, the release date. It’s not official yet, but the rumor has it that the newest phone by Samsung will premiere on February 17. This makes sense and correlates with the date other recent Galaxy S** phones were made available. This also leaves a possibility to move the release date both forward and backward.

As for the design, it will step back from the previous model, S22, and rather resemble Galaxy Note devices. This phablet line has been absorbed by Galaxy S line, but many of its features are still there, and the BIG look of it will now make its comeback in S23. The models will probably feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the most powerful CPU by Qualcomm for the date, and, as some leaks say, the flagship phones by Samsung will exclusively feature an overclocked version of 8 Gen 2.

The phones will start with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM, but each of the models will be available in several versions. The cameras will probably be seriously updated, given that the changes in S22 models after S21 were mostly cosmetic. The One UI will also be reviewed, and though the phones will initially feature Android 13, Samsung says it will take even less time for phones to embrace Android 14.

Also, there will be more than one model. Traditionally, the S23 (6.1”) will be the most basic model of the series, with S23 Plus (6.6”) being bigger and more powerful, and S23 Ultra (6.8”) the technological leader, the real flagship of the flagships. The dimensions of the 2023 models will probably re The prices may be similar to those of the S22 line, starting with S799 (S23), $999 (Plus), and $1,199 (Ultra).

Are you already anticipating any of these models? Which one would you prefer? What you think about Samsung Galaxy S series in general? Is there any Android phone you’d rather have? Tell it to us in the comments!
