Lucy is the Top Favorite for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Cosplay

While the Polish-Japan cyberpunk ONA-show Cyberpunk: Edgerunners quickly became popular among audiences, not all characters were accepted equally. This prequel to the popular game Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt Red gathered mostly positive reviews. It is only natural that many fans began to cosplay their favorite characters.

Lucy or Lucyna Kushinada, the netrunner with romantic feelings towards the main heartbreaker David Martinez quickly became the favorite character of cosplayers. Many critics believe that Lucy helped to fill the list of the best characters in 2022. Tons of new releases proved to be interesting this time of the year and made critics' hearts melt during the holiday season. Yet, the popularity of Lucy can’t be explained only by the general mood of Thanksgiving or Christmas. The series was released back in September and quickly made it to the top of the chart on Netflix. Moreover, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners managed to survive among numerous great titles released at the same time.

The biggest score for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was brought by Lucy, according to the critics' and fans' opinions. The character is one of the most memorable and interesting heroes in this year’s anime. Lucy quickly won the hearts of fans around the world. In some way, she began a role model to the new characters that are yet to come, raising the bar for anyone. No wonder, she quickly became the main inspiration for cosplayers. Famous artists like Yaya Han had cosplayed on Lucy and shared their pictures via social networks.

If you have not watched the show yet, you can do it on Netflix. It is still available around the world. However, producers have already confirmed that despite the game’s popularity there will be no season 2.
