Did you search for something you regret ever seeing and wish it never happened? Or would you like to keep the last 15 minutes of your search history a secret from your significant other? Well now you can with the new feature that is finally coming to Android.

It has been almost a year since Google announced that interesting new features will be coming to its mobile search. The feature that would allow users to delete the last 15 minutes of their search history was mentioned in particular and planned for the end of last year. It seems that the tech giant couldn’t meet the deadline, but it was confirmed that Android users will finally get to use this new feature.

Mishaal Rahman, XDA’s former editor-in-chief, was the first to report that this new feature is coming to Android. Google’s spokesperson has confirmed it, stating that all the Android users will be able to start using the new feature within the next few weeks.

Now you might be wondering whether the new history-erasing feature will be coming to the desktop version. If last year’s reports are any indication, this new feature will be coming to ‘multiple platforms’, but it is currently unknown when that is going to happen or whether it will be happening at all.

Hopefully, the new feature will get released across all devices fairly soon, since having the ability to quickly delete 15 minutes of your search history is extremely convenient and will be regularly used by many users.
