The most pompous game show in the world rises from the ashes despite the virus threat. In the light of the pandemic, E3 will be hosted all digital. At leats, attending requires no fees. Or plane tickets.

E3 game trade show returns. The official dates for E3 2021 have been announced as well: July 13-15 2021

This year’s all-digital video game fair will be honored by Take-Two Interactive, Konami, Ubisoft, Capcom, Nintendo, Warner Bros and Xbox presenting their games, leaking trailers and sharing the release plans for the future.

The cool part is, the game expo charges absolutely no fees. The event will be available online from every corner of the world. All platforms are supported as well: computers, mobile, smart TVs, and so forth.

It is expected, that gaming fans will be able to parley with their favorite game-makers via live press conferences, there will be filmed-in-advance interviews, lots of trailers exclusively premiering for attendees and other goodies.

It was confirmed that no elements of the show will be hidden behind the paywall. And here you can fill out the form to get registered for the event. Plus, you’ll receive further announcements and notifications.

As Stanley Pierre-Louis — president of the ESA — said:

“For more than two decades, E3 has been the premier venue to showcase the best that the video game industry has to offer, while uniting the world through games...”

If you’re interested, you can also become an official streamer of the event. Here you can fill out the application for streaming

Unfortunate, it seems some of the show elements will be ditched. For instance, there will be no Fortnite, Overwatch, Lol and other games cosplayers whose costumes sometimes are a piece of art.

First-hand game testing also seems to be off the table. Unless game studios provide the press with short demonstration snippets of what they plan to release soon.

At least, insider info still sweetens the bitter pill:

“We are evolving this year’s E3 into a more inclusive event, but will still look to excite the fans with major reveals and insider opportunities that make this event the indispensable center stage for video games.” — added Pierre-Louis.

So, hurry up and book your place at the world’s biggest game event now. Registration is free of charge and seemingly will last all spring. No geographical restrictions are put for E3 2021.
